Liverpool are preparing to make an £87m bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Bradley Barcola in January, according to Fichajes.
The Reds have had a mixed campaign under Arne Slot, but have found that they have struggled in attacking areas despite spending almost £250m on deals to bring in Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, with both players failing to make an immediate impact and Mohamed Salah also falling out with the club.
That has seen the Anfield club begin to make plans to overhaul their attack even more, and France international Barcola has emerged as a top target for 2026.

Barcola, who has been described as 'one of the best wingers in the world', was a key member of the PSG squad that won the treble last season, but this season he has found regular game time more difficult to come by, as Luis Enrique has preferred to use Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as his front three.
That has made the player desire a move away from the French capital, and it's understood that Liverpool are now finalising an offer worth £87m to convince the reigning European champions to part ways with the talented 23-year-old.
It's believed that Salah's departure from Anfield is 'imminent' after his fallout with Arne Slot and the club, and Barcola is seen as an ideal replacement to take on the role as a leading man in the squad's attack for the future, despite playing on the opposite flank. Liverpool 'will spare no expense' to get the deal done, and they want to partner him alongside Isak, Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike in a star-studded attack.
PSG don't want to lose Barcola, who is contracted to the club until 2028, however, Liverpool's major offer could see the club think twice about, and Barcola is said to be 'very keen' to make the switch to the Premier League and Anfield in particular.
Barcola Would Be a Liverpool Gamechanger

Liverpool have got one of the most expensive forward lines in world football already, but it's fair to say that they also have a limited number of options that are of the required level by their own standards.
Salah is ageing, Slot doesn't trust Federico Chiesa, Rio Ngumoha is only 17 and is completely untested, while Cody Gakpo is far too inconsistent to be a regular starter. Combine that with the slow starts that Wirtz and Isak have had to their Anfield career, and that leaves plenty of room for improvement.
Liverpool's talks with the player's representatives are ongoing, and his agents are applying pressure to PSG to get a deal over the line for their client to move on and play more regularly. And it seems as though his future currently lies closer to Merseyside than Paris.
His arrival would be game-changing for Liverpool and give the team one of the most exciting forward lines to help push them towards another Champions League and Premier League trophy.
