Pompey Talk: Minhyeok Yang departure
Pompey welcome Premier League leaders Arsenal to Fratton Park in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Mark Kosznovszky miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury sustained against Charlton Athletic.
The Hungarian sustained an ACL injury late in the 2-1 triumph at Fratton Park at the end of December, with John Mousinho revealing the midfielder is expected to miss 9-12 months of action.
The 23-year-old, who made the move from MTK Budapest in the summer, has featured 16 times for the Blues this season in all competitions.
The head coach has also confirmed another blow, with Hayden Matthews now set for a large chunk on the sidelines. The centre-back, who suffered an ankle injury against Bristol City on New Year’s Day, will be out for 8-10 weeks.
Josh Murphy is expected to be out for another 3-4 weeks due to a hamstring issue, while Callum Lang remains a couple of weeks beyond that.
