Arsenal are reportedly ready to enter the race to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City, according to journalist John Cross.
The Eagles captain is in demand in 2026 with his contract due at Selhurst Park due to expire at the end of the season, when he will be available on a free transfer, and the Gunners are keen to sign the England star alongside Liverpool and City.
However, Pep Guardiola's men are keen to tie up a deal this month rather than waiting for another six months, as they look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
Arsenal Have Genuine Interest in Marc Guehi

According to the Mirror journalist, Arsenal have joined the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich to snap up a player who is considered one of the best free agents available at the end of the season.
Cross says that City are the red-hot favourites to land the 25-year-old 'superstar' after making a big push to get a move over the line before the February 2 deadline.
However, Premier League leaders Arsenal are set to join the discussion but it remains to be seen whether they would be willing to make a bid now, or bide their time and try to win the race to land Guehi for free.
The Gunners' interest in the defender is long-term as they were keen on him last summer, before instead deciding to sign Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie.
This is a breaking story. More to follow...
