Chelsea were beaten 2-1 by west London rivals Fulham on Wednesday, in their final match before Liam Rosenior takes charge.
The Blues made the short trip to Craven Cottage with Calum MacFarlane in charge for the second time, having overseen a 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Sunday.
The visitors were at an early disadvantage, however, when Marc Cucurella was sent off for bringing down Harry Wilson as he headed towards Robert Sanchez’s goal.
Fulham then went ahead shortly after the break courtesy of Raul Jimenez, before Liam Delap’s first Premier League goal for Chelsea drew the Blues level.
The ten-men were unable to hold on, though, with Wilson finding the back of the net late on to secure an impressive victory for Marco Silva’s side.
Rosenior will now take charge of Chelsea before their game against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup on Saturday, but in the meantime it appears that the London giants are eyeing a surprise move for a Bundesliga star.
As per Fichajes, via CaughtOffside, new Chelsea boss Rosenior has identified Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-jae as an ideal candidate to bolster his squad in defence.

The report claims that Rosenior is keen to improve his defensive options this month, and Kim has emerged as a possible target.
The South Korea international joined Bayern from Italian outfit Napoli back in the summer of 2023 and has since made 96 appearances for the Bavarian club across all competitions.
It is claimed that Bayern could be willing to allow the central defender to leave the club this year, with the South Korean likely to cost around £26 million.
Kim’s contract with the Bundesliga champions isn’t set to expire until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but he has started just six of their 15 league games so far this term and it appears that he could be allowed to leave in the coming months.
