Conor Bradley was forced off injured during Liverpool’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal.

Gary Neville fumed at Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli for shoving Conor Bradley off the pitch before the Liverpool defender required to be stretchered off.

Bradley went down innocuously in stoppage-time of the 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium. With Premier League leaders Arsenal pursuing a goal, Martinelli tried to push the right-back out of play. Video replays showed that Martinelli also threw the ball at Bradley.

That sparked a melee amid Bradley’s injury which appeared serious. He left the field of play on a stretcher and with his head in his hands.

During a fracas, Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate was booked. Neville, who was on commentary duty for Sky Sports, lambasted ‘absolutelt disgraceful’ Martinelli and was shocked Liverpool’s players didn’t react with violence.

Former Manchester United captain Neville said: “He's been stretchered off Conor Bradley and it's a sad sight because he's had injuries before. I'm absolutely fuming with Gabriel Martinelli. I don't know how the Liverpool players didn't go over to him and whack him and take a red card. It's absolutely disgraceful."

Roy Keane was in complete agreement with Neville over Martinelli’s behaviour. Ex-Man United captain Keane said: “I didn’t like it at all. It’s not good. I’m surprised the Liverpool players didn’t react more. That behaviour is an absolute disgrace.

“Know your players. He’s not the type of kid to do that. Not good stuff.
