Liverpool fans were not happy with Arne Slot during the Premier League meeting with Arsenal.
It’s not the first time this season that the Reds faithful have expressed anger towards the manager.
Some have called for Steven Gerrard to replace the Dutchman for the remainder of 2025/26.

Meanwhile, many expressed hope Slot would be sacked by Liverpool while watching the Arsenal clash.
The Merseyside outfit, who let us not forget, are supposed to be the defending Premier League champions, were incredibly defensive against the Gunners and spent much of the tie penned back in their own half.
Slot even had Cody Gakpo basically playing at centre-back whenever Mikel Arteta’s men were on the attack.
Yet, despite the continued unrest among the fanbase, former player Stephen Warnock has expressed a very different view.

Stephen Warnock doesn’t think Arne Slot should be dismissed
Warnock, covering the game for BBC Sport, shared his thoughts on supporters calling for Slot to be dismissed post-Arsenal if the result went against them.
And he couldn’t believe what he was hearing, suggesting the manager and team need more time to evolve.
He said: “There has been a lot of talk around the city and fans saying that if they lose heavily tonight, they want the manager gone. I just find it incredible.
“Surely you have to let this squad evolve. I still think they need to sign players which sounds incredible given the money spent in the summer.
“The one thing Liverpool are missing in this squad is players that can beat people. Liverpool simply don’t have that at the moment in this team.”

Liverpool are delaying the inevitable with Arne Slot
While it is an unpopular opinion from Warnock, given how often fans are talking about Slot leaving, the ex-player is probably going to get his wish.
At least before the Arsenal game, there were claims that Liverpool weren’t going to change managers yet.
Why that is the case is anyone’s guess, but FSG may simply be happy with the nine-game unbeaten run and the fact the Reds are just back in the top four for the time being.
However, it’s evident the Dutchman isn’t the man to get this side back to their best, and is instead simply setting up not to lose to try and hold onto his role for as long as possible.
It will probably get him to the end of the season, but it’s hard to see Slot lasting beyond the summer.
