Chaotic scenes broke out moments before the Minnesota Timberwolves' game on Thursday night after chants of 'go home ICE' where heard during a minute silence for Renee Nicole Good.
Good, 37, was shot dead on Wednesday while driving an SUV that was blocking a residential street during protests against an ICE operation.
In the days that have followed, tributes have flooded in for the mother-of-three and, prior to the Timberwolves' game on Thursday night, the team held a minute silence.
However, in stunning scenes that later emerged on social media, fans were heard shouting 'Go home ICE' and 'F*** ICE'.
Large sections of the audience responded by erupting into cheers and applause, while a tribute video for Good played on the Target Center's jumbotron.
Speaking before the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, Minnesota head coach Chris Finch said: 'As we all know, our community has suffered yet another unspeakable tragedy
'We want to just convey our condolences and heartfelt wishes and prayers and thoughts to the families and loved ones and all of those that are greatly affected by what happened.'
