Chelsea have officially confirmed Liam Rosenior’s coaching staff who will be in the dugout with him, and fans will hate one appointment.
Chelsea apparently paid a ‘market rate’ to get Liam Rosenior out of his Strasbourg contract to become their new head coach for this season and beyond.
EXCLUSIVE! The truth about the Chelsea FC project!
Rosenior got to work yesterday with his first training session at his new club, and we are already hearing transfer rumours about alleged players he wants to sign.
Things are moving fast for the new manager at Chelsea, and his first game comes tomorrow against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup third round.
Joining him in the dugout will be his coaching team, which Chelsea have officially confirmed now ontheir website last night.

Liam Rosenior and his team:
▪︎ Liam Rosenior – Head Coach
▪︎ Calum McFarlane – Assistant
▪︎ Kalifa Cisse – Assistant
▪︎ Justin Walker – Assistant
▪︎ Ben Warner – Analyst
▪︎ Ben Roberts – GK coach
▪︎ Bernardo Cueva – Set piece coach
You will recognise the name Calum McFarlane, who has been Chelsea’s interim boss for the last two games. He’s been promoted from U21s manager into the first team setup now to join Rosenior and his team.
Another name you will know
Chelsea fans are not too fond of goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts. When Robert Sanchez was terrible consistently, Chelsea did not want to sell him due to Roberts backing him. Blues fans were furious about this. Well, now he’s on Rosenior’s staff and I’m sure it will get tongues wagging.
Although, credit to both Roberts and Sanchez because his form for the last half a year at least has been so much better. So maybe Roberts was right to back him? Time will tell.
