'That's our norm': Jason Kidd speaks out after another Anthony Davis injury

Mavericks coach Jason Kidd did not provide a concerning injury update on Anthony Davis, who left the game late in the fourth quarter with a hand injury.

Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis can’t seem to shake injuries, as he suffered another setback in a 114–116 loss to the Utah Jazz on Thursday.

Davis was forced to leave the game late in the fourth quarter with a little over two minutes remaining after suffering a hand injury.

When asked about losing Davis to injury, head coach Jason Kidd said it has become a reality the team has dealt with all season, offering no extended update on his status.

“I don't think it's tough. I think that's our norm with injuries or sickness. We lose guys. Next guy up,” Kidd said, via Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News.

Davis finished the game with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists in 35 minutes of action.

He has already missed 20 games this season due to various injuries and is averaging 20.3 points on 50.6% shooting from the field, along with 1.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.
