Up-and-Coming Eastern Conference team linked to Zion Williamson

NBA insider believes the Chicago Bulls are a team worth monitoring in connection with New Orleans Pelicans’ Zion Williamson.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has been mentioned among the potential star players who could be traded this season, with plenty of teams reportedly willing to take a risk on the 25-year-old high-flyer.

New Orleans Pelicans / Schedule

According to NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Chicago Bulls could be a team to watch when it comes to Williamson. The Bulls have recently been scouting New Orleans and might be interested in acquiring him.

“Keep a close eye on the [Bulls] maybe pursuing Zion Williamson,” Siegel reported on the Clutch Scoops podcast. “I’ve heard that there’s been some smoke there about Chicago scouting New Orleans in recent weeks, and Zion would be the ideal buy-low candidate for a team like the Bulls, who have a lot of expiring contracts.”

This season, Williamson has appeared in 23 games with the Pelicans, averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

He earns around $39.4 million this season and remains under contract with the Pelicans through the 2027-28 season.
