Copley signed his first professional contract in the summer and was named on the bench against Club Brugge in the Champions League.
The youngster also travelled with the first-team squad for their pre-season tour of Asia.
This season Copley has frequently captained Arsenal at U21 level and has also worn the armband for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League.
A player who joined from West Ham as a schoolboy, Copley progressed to scholarship terms in 2023.
Copley, 19, relishes making runs from deep and has physical qualities that could prove useful during his loan spell.
