Arsenal have confirmed that youngster Louie Copley has joined Crawley Town on loan for the rest of the season.
The central midfielder, 19, has been a regular in Premier League 2 this season, making eight appearances, six with the captain’s armband. He’s also featured in the EFL Trophy and the Uefa Youth League.
A regular in first team training, Copley was part of the squad that toured Asia in the summer and recently earned a place on the bench for the Champions League win ovr Club Brugge.
The move to Broadfield Stadium represents a chance to earn his first senior minutes in League Two. Crawley could do with a hand, they are currently hovering just above the relegation zone.
Elsewhere, Maldini Kacurri has returned to Arsenal following his loan spell with Morecambe. He played 18 times in the National League and was twice named the club’s player of the month. The Albania international is expected to move again in January, although it remains to be seen if it’s a permanent deal or another loan.
Just before Christmas, Harrison Dudziak joined National League side Braintree Town on a youth loan until January 21.
