There aren’t too many Liverpool players being tipped for a January sale, but one who might be heading for the Anfield exit is Federico Chiesa.
The winter window is in full swing, and Chiesa’s Liverpool future looks like dominating the rumour mill.
A return to Juventus looks the most likely outcome if a sale is to be sanctioned, but James Pearce says Liverpool have not been approached over Chiesa.

That looks set to change, though, with Italian media claiming a plan is brewing in Turin.

Juventus are planning an approach for Federico Chiesa
There have been conflicting reports over the Italian’s transfer prospects. Fabrizio Romano claimed Juventus and Liverpool have held talks, but that has been disputed in England.
It sounds like that is the direction of travel, though, with Gianluca Di Marzio revealing the latest.
He writes: “Juventus isn’t giving up on Federico Chiesa. In fact, the Bianconeri are trying to find a way to bring the winger back to Turin.
“In this sense, they are studying a new offer to present to Liverpool , which could be on loan with an option to buy that becomes mandatory under certain conditions , in order to protect the parties involved and try to unblock the situation.

From this latest report, it sounds like a deal could be difficult to agree on, but efforts are being made to pluck the out-of-favour Italian out of Liverpool. And Chiesa sounds quite open to the move.
Federico Chiesa has spoken with a number of Juventus ex-teammates

Despite that fact, it sounds like a new challenge is tempting the 28-year-old. A report from Tuttosport claims he has been in contact with his old pals in Turin.
They report: “There’s no more doubt. And Federico doesn’t have any anymore either, having taken stock of the situation over the past few hours, between calls and WhatsApp messages, with a few teammates, especially those of the old guard. Friends, after all. Like Vlahovic. Like Locatelli. Even Gatti.”
It would be sad to see Chiesa leave the club having not had the full opportunity to make his mark at Anfield. If he does push for an exit, though, it won’t reflect negatively on him at all.
With the World Cup just months away, minutes on the pitch are a valuable commodity, and it might be that a departure is best for the Italian.
