Chelsea aren’t expected to do much business during the January transfer window, but it seems as if they are trying to make some moves.
It’s safe to say that the faith in the Chelsea ownership group has gone through the floor after their recent decision to push Enzo Maresca out the door at Stamford Bridge.
Liam Rosenior has since taken charge and caused quite a stir in his first training session, where he can be seen acting very exuberantly, and even pulled Estevao Willian to one side.
There are rather muted expectations with no one really knowing what to expect, but the clear message is that signings are wanted by supporters this month.
It seems like the Chelsea owners would rather wait until the summer, rather than letting Rosenior add his own touches to this Blues squad.
But never say never, as they are on the lookout for opportunities.

Mateus Mane is a name that Premier League supporters are becoming accustomed to, having exploded out of nowhere for bottom-side Wolves over the past month.
He’s scored two goals and assisted once in his last two Premier League games, which is incredible to put into perspective at just 18 years of age.
And his performances seem to have caught the eyes of Chelsea, as TeamTalk claims that the Blues have made contact with his camp over a potential deal.
They state that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all watched him this season.
Be honest: If Chelsea land Mateus Mane this month, does he go straight into the XI over Pedro Neto?👀

Chelsea’s pool of youth talent at Stamford Bridge
We’ve already seen the qualities that Estevao Willian possesses at Chelsea, but he hasn’t been given as many opportunities as he would have liked this season.
Kendry Paez and Geovany Quenda are two more players set to join the fold at Stamford Bridge in the summer, so there’s no shortage of attacking outlets.
Not to mention the likes of Jamie Gittens, Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho.
Mateus Mane has impressed for Wolves and will no doubt go on to have a big future, but given the attacking outlets that Chelsea already have and the incoming ones, you can’t help but feel that he could prove to be a wasted talent in the capital.
