Earlier this week, I think we all learned that former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was an alumnus of Indiana University.
As the Hoosiers football program continues the greatest season in program history, it was reported that Cuban is funding the NIL era for the university.

Front Office Sports has reported that the former Mavericks owner gave the university a rather large sum back in 2024. Now, the football program is reaping the benefits of that funding.

Friday night, the Hoosiers will meet the Oregon Ducks in the Peach Bowl for a chance to play in the national championship. The countdown is on for the game, and Cuban is not going to miss any of the action.

Cuban was seen taking in the sights and sounds on the field prior to kickoff. It has to be a surreal feeling for anyone who has followed the Indiana football program for any length of time.
However, this isn’t a thankful we made it kind of deal. The Hoosiers have been the best team in college football all season. A season that has already seen them take down the Ducks.

Of course, you want to see your team win it all. But if the Hoosiers do lose on Friday night, this season is far from a failure.
