NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Pelicans snapped a nine-game losing streak with a road win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night, powered by 30-plus performances from Zion Williamson and Trey Murphy.
Murphy scored 35 points in 36 minutes, while Williamson added 31 points in just 29 minutes. Queen recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 16 rebounds and 12 assists in 33 minutes.
It was the first game Williamson and Queen started together, and the pairing proved pivotal in the victory.
The Pelicans next game is Sunday, Jan. 11 in Orlando against the Magic on the Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network.
