He limped straight off the court and into the locker room. He had 19 points and seven assists at the time of his departure.

Head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters after the 125-117 loss that Barrett will be evaluated Saturday morning.

The injury comes not long after Barrett returned from a 15-game absence in November and December due to a right knee sprain.

The 25-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., is averaging 19.6 points per game on 50 per cent shooting from the field in 22 games so far this season.

Scottie Barnes, Brandon Ingram and Jakob Poeltl each missed Friday’s game in Boston with injury. Toronto will be back in action Sunday at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.
