Day 10 of the 2026 January transfer window is upon us, and Liverpool are yet to make a senior signing.
It has already been reported that teenage centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe is joining the Reds once the 2025/26 season is finished.
Elsewhere, it’s understood that alongside Ndukwe, Liverpool are signing Mor Ndiaye.

But while the future of the club’s backline looks pretty secure after the addition of two top young talents, fans are still waiting to see what first-team business, if any, will be done in the coming weeks.
With that in mind, here is all the latest transfer news and rumours coming out of Liverpool ahead of the weekend.
Marc Guehi will not join Liverpool in January
The Marc Guehi transfer saga has been going on since the summer transfer window.
A recent twist saw Manchester City linked with the centre-back amid injury issues in Pep Guardiola’s backline.
Then, Guehi to Arsenal for £40m was mooted as a possibility on Thursday afternoon.

Liverpool wait to hear Mohamed Salah confirmation
Mohamed Salah is currently away at the AFCON with Egypt, and will be in action against Ivory Coast on January 10.
Talk about a potential move has died down since he left to represent his country, but previous suggestions were that Salah could leave in the summer of 2026.
Meanwhile, an update in Italy this week said that Liverpool are waiting on confirmation from the 33-year-old that he is going to see out the 2025/26 season on Merseyside.
If that does happen, it’s expected that one player could be allowed to leave this month.

The player in question is Federico Chiesa, who continues to be linked with a Juventus return.
Reports in Italy suggest the Turin-based outfit want to offer Liverpool a loan with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
The Reds, for their part, however, are thought to be only willing to sanction an exit in January on a permanent basis.
Chiesa, meanwhile, is said to have been in contact ‘with a few teammates, especially those of the old guard. Friends, after all. Like Vlahovic. Like Locatelli. Even Gatti’.
