Luka Doncic does something he hasn't done since 2022 vs. Bucks

Lakers star Luka Doncic fouled out of the game against the Bucks, marking just the third time in his career and his first since 2022.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic had a rough night in Friday’s 105–101 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Despite finishing just shy of a triple-double with 24 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, Doncic struggled with his efficiency. He shot 8-for-25 from the field and made only four of his eight free-throw attempts.

Doncic also committed a costly foul late in the game. With 16.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, he fouled Milwaukee’s Kevin Porter Jr. on a three-point attempt. The foul not only proved critical but was also Doncic’s sixth, forcing him to foul out and leaving him unavailable for the Lakers’ final possession.

This marked only the third time in Doncic’s career that he has fouled out of a game, and his first since October 29, 2022.

After the game, he described his performance as terrible.

“I think I missed the shots I usually make. Those little floaters in the paint, I work on that a lot. Just today, it was a terrible day for me,” Doncic said postgame.

With the loss, the Lakers fell to a 23–13 record on the season and currently sit fifth in the Western Conference standings.
