Giannis Wears LeBron James jersey in Bucks locker room after win vs. Lakers

Giannis Antetokounmpo walked into the Bucks’ locker room wearing a LeBron James jersey after Friday’s win over the Lakers.

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo came up clutch in a huge 105–101 road win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Giannis finished the game with 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while also making key defensive plays in the final possessions. He notably locked up LeBron James late to help the Bucks secure an important victory.

After the game, Giannis showed respect to LeBron. According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, he asked for James’ jersey and walked into the Bucks’ locker room wearing it, while his brother Thanasis was seen with a Bronny James jersey.

“Giannis Antetokounmpo walked into the Bucks locker room tonight wearing a LeBron James jersey. His brother Thanasis had a Bronny James jersey. Giannis already had the Bronny jersey from a previous game they played. Apparently he just asked for them,” Shelburne wrote on X postgame.

With the win, the Bucks improved to a 17–21 record and moved one step closer to the play-in spots in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Lakers fell to 23–13 on the season and remain fifth in the Western Conference standings.
