In-demand attacker Ethan Nwaneri reportedly wants to stay and fight for his place in the Arsenal team for the remainder of the season, amid all the transfer interest from a number of Premier League sides.
ARSENAL have been buying some quality players over the past couple of transfer windows, and all their hard work in the market has paid paid, as the Gunners are favourites for that Premier League title this season.
But there are a few players in the side that are probably no longer needed by Mikel Arteta, and there has been alot of speculation and rumours in the media about stars that could be let go at some point this January transfer window.
The 18-year-old has attracted attention from Bournemouth this month, with the Premier League side eager to sign him on loan until the end of this campaign following the sale of Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City.
There is a sense that a temporary move would benefit Nwaneri given his lack of playing time this season. The Hale End academy product has been left out of the last few matchday squads after seeing his playing time decrease drastically compared to last season.

Here is the latest transfer news and speculation regarding Arsenal as star Declan Rice has been tipped for a shock transfer move to La Liga side Real Madrid by former Spain international Gaizka Mendieta.
Rice has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world since he joined ARSENAL from West Ham in a £105m deal in July 2023, and has become one of the main reasons why the Gunners have been so good over the past 12 months.
While Rice is understood to be happy in north London – and there is no indication he is looking to leave the Emirates – Mendieta believes the situation could quickly change if Arsenal don’t start landing trophies, and has tipped the £100M star to make the move to the Spaniards.
‘Declan Rice has a lot of respect in Spain,’ Mendieta told BOYLE Sports, who provide the latest football odds.
‘Especially after what he did against Real Madrid last season in scoring two unbelievable goals. For fans who don’t watch the Premier League that was the highlight, but people who watch him every week will see how good he is often.

Saka has one won major trophy with ARSENAL, the 2020 FA Cup shortly after his breakthrough into the first-team. Now a vice-captain, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta views the 24-year-old as one of the most important members of his squad both on and off the pitch.
Saka, 24, is in the last 18 months of his current deal with the Gunners but talks over an extension were opened last year, but the England international is now set to put pen to paper on a contract which keeps him at the Emirates until June 2031.
Arteta was asked in November why he was so relaxed about Saka’s future. “I prefer that word, I think it is confidence,” the Gunners boss replied. “What Bukayo has transmitted to me and the club, and Emeka (Obasi, Saka’s agent) as well, is that they want to continue to be here.
“It’s a very healthy and powerful relationship. The journey that he has had at the club and what he has become is something we want to maintain. That is something that is going to leave a legacy at this club and he needs to fulfil that role.”
