Chelsea has found its new manager, but Manchester United is still on the hunt, and Gary Neville has a couple of former Stamford Bridge suggestions.
Liam Rosenior has made an immediate impact at Chelsea in terms of improving the players’ mood, as Liam Delap is one of many who have praised the new boss.
However, actions speak louder than words, and Rosenior will be given the chance to show what his Chelsea side can do against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup tonight.
Would you start Reece James against Charlton? 🤔
Or do you rest him for Arsenal next week?

It’s a game that could see Rosenior rest plenty of his first-team regulars as he looked ahead to the midweek Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal.
However, we believe that Rosenior’s XI will be a strong one to face Charlton, including players like Alejandro Garnacho, Joao Pedro, and Jamie Gittens.
Meanwhile, Man United are gearing up for their FA Cup clash against Brighton with Steven Fletcher in charge, as both Chelsea and the Red Devils suffer from ownership moves.
Gary Neville picks two former Chelsea managers he wants at Man United
Man United have their own issues at Old Trafford, with the search for a new manager ongoing after relieving Ruben Amorim of his duties recently.
Former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has even been linked with the Man United job, but he isn’t two of the two names that Gary Neville would take in Manchester.
Speaking on the Overlap’s substack, Neville pointed towards Carlo Ancelotti and Thomas Tuchel.
“The outstanding candidate for me would be Carlo Ancelotti, even if it would mean potentially delaying his arrival until late July if Brazil reached the World Cup final. No one comes as close to fulfilling everything laid out above than he does.
“Ironically, the club met with Carlo shortly before his retirement in 2013, and we could have short-circuited this entire process and started with him at the beginning of the cycle. But by that stage, he was close to agreeing to joining Real Madrid for his first spell in charge, and so what might have been a perfect appointment never happened.

“After Ancelotti, the next two on my short list would be Thomas Tuchel and Eddie Howe, Roy Keane’s suggestion, and one of the names suggested by Ashworth in 2024.
“Again, these are two candidates who know the Premier League inside out and who both have Champions League experience. Howe now has a major trophy as well.
“Obviously, Tuchel edges it in terms of experience and the quality of the trophies he has won, with Champions League, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 his biggest achievements. He also reached a Champions League final with PSG. He might have played a back three at times, but he is sufficiently adaptable to fit the United DNA and plays with a back four with England.”
