Here is the latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip as the Reds Women have completed the signing of Norway forward Anna Josendal from Hammarby IF, the club have announced on the website.
In 2023, she won the Norwegian Women’s Cup and was named Toppserien Player of the Year after registering 17 goal involvements (eight goals, nine assists) from her 24 top-flight outings.
Josendal has spent the past two campaigns in Sweden with Hammarby, where she was on the scoresheet 12 times in all competitions, but now the 24-year-old put pen to paper on a contract with the Reds at the AXA Melwood Training Centre.
Josendal will wear the No.21 shirt and told *LIVERPOOL*fc.com upon finalising the switch: “It feels amazing to be here.
“This has been my dream since I was a little kid – Liverpool has always been my favourite team and my whole family is supporting them as well, so it’s big for me.
“I spoke a lot with Gareth [Taylor] and Andy [O’Boyle] and that felt so good, and also to play in the Barclays Women’s Super League, the best league in Europe, is something I really look forward to.
“To play for this shirt is going to be so special, so I can’t wait to get started.”

Josendal has been impressive over the past few seasons and that is why *LIVERPOOL*have made their moves to get a transfer deal done, she will certainly freshen up the side for the second half of the season.
Josendal will have to work hard to win her place in that Liverpool side, but she has shown over the past few seasons that she can certainly make a big impact at Anfield over the next few seasons.
