United have changed their transfer strategy since INEOS took control of football operations in 2024.
The club now prefer to sign more young players with high potential, rather than spending all their transfer budget on established stars.
The Red Devils have been impressed with Tyjon, and could make an offer to sign him this winter.
The teenager mainly operates as a striker but can also play on the left wing. He has scored nine goals in 22 appearances for the Under-21 side.
Blackburn do not want to lose their prized asset and have attempted to secure his future by agreeing a new deal.
But the youngster has rejected the opportunity to sign a professional contract at Ewood Park.
The Championship outfit are resigned to losing Tyjon, whose scholarship terms expire at the end of the season.
Arsenal had multiple bids worth over £1 million turned down by Blackburn in the past, but they still haven’t given up on the talented forward.
The Gunners have been in the market for a young striker since Chido Odi left to join United in 2024.
Andre Harriman Annous has been impressive with his performances, but the club wants to bring competition for him.
Arsenal made an approach for Will Wright last summer, but Liverpool beat them to the 17-year-old’s signature.
