BOSTON — Sam Hauser was downgraded on the Celtics injury report with right hamstring tightness for the 8 p.m. Saturday game against the Spurs. He was a late scratch roughly a couple hours before the game.

Josh Minott will miss his third straight game with a left ankle sprain. Jayson Tatum remains out with his Achilles rehab.

Hauser has been a recent starter for the Celtics over the last four games. His shooting has heated up after a cold start to the season. He scored 19 points on 5-for-7 3-point shooting in the win over the Raptors on Friday.

The Celtics could roll with Jordan Walsh back in the starter role with no Hauser. Walsh has broken out this season and has started the majority of the game for the Celtics. Walsh, Hugo Gonzalez and Baylor Scheierman will likely see an increase in minutes with no Hauser.

On the Spurs side, Victor Wembanyama is good to play after dealing with some recent injuries. San Antonio comes into Saturday’s game with a 26-11 record, good for second in the West. The Celtics bring in a 24-13 record, which is second in the East.
