The Chicago Bulls (17-20) attempt to get back on the court at the United Center on Saturday night after a postponement on Thursday, hosting the Dallas Mavericks (14-24), who had a two-game winning streak ended on Thursday night.
How to Watch Dallas Mavericks vs Chicago Bulls
Dallas led by seven with 4:39 remaining before being held scoreless for nearly four minutes as the host Utah Jazz came from behind for a 116-114 victory on Thursday night. Cooper Flagg paced the Mavericks with 26 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and three steals, with Klay Thompson dropping 23 points off the bench and Anthony Davis finishing with 21 points and 11 boards.
The Bulls' game against the visiting Miami Heat on Thursday night was postponed because of condensation on the court. The Heat aren't scheduled to return to Chicago this season, and a makeup date has not been announced. A combination of a hockey game at the United Center on Wednesday night and an unseasonably warm, rainy day created the issue, with the postponement declared after more than 90 minutes of unsuccessful attempts to dry the basketball floor. The Bulls have lost three in a row, most recently a 108-93 road loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.
Davis, who left the loss at Utah with a hand injury and is listed as day-to-day, leads the Mavs with averages of 20.4 points and 11.1 rebounds, with Flagg getting 19.1 points per game. Ryan Nembhard hands out 5.0 assists a night. The shorthanded Bulls, missing Josh Giddey (hamstring), Jalen Smith (concussion protocol), and Kevin Huerter (back), have Coby White scoring 18.4 points, Nikola Vučević putting up 16.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, and Tre Jones posting 11.9 points and 5.5 assists per game.
