There was plenty for Liam Rosenior to be happy about as he got off to a winning start to life as the Chelsea manager against Charlton.
The Blues won 5-1 against the Championship side in the FA Cup third round, treating the away supporters in attendance to a flurry of goals in the second half.
There was frustration early on from Chelsea fans, however Jorrel Hato’s stunning first goal for the club gave them the lead just before half-time.

Liam Rosenior impressed by ‘magnificent’ Marc Guiu for Chelsea vs Charlton
Guiu found the net for the third time in three different competitions this season, and worked hard up against Charlton’s low block for limited rewards.
However, Rosenior was left very impressed with the Spaniard, singling him out for praise after the game in an interview with TNT Sports.
He said after the game: “I thought Marc Guiu was magnificent, he deserved his goal.”
Guiu was replaced in the second half by the in-form Liam Delap, who was unlucky not to add to his goal against Fulham in midweek.
The future is very much uncertain for Guiu at the club, although leaving a lasting impression on a new manager is never a bad place to start for any player.

Guiu’s place at Chelsea still in danger
Chelsea have Delap and Joao Pedro fighting for the number nine position most weeks, leaving very little opportunity for Guiu to feature.
Three 8’s, but a 4/10 for Garnacho – do you agree? 👀

With Emanuel Emegha set to join in the summer and the exciting Dastan Satpaev ready to make his mark, it remains to be seen just how the Spaniard can leave a lasting impact at Stamford Bridge.
He started the season on loan at Sunderland, and only returned after Nicolas Jackson departed the club and Delap fell to an injury.
The FA Cup could be the best opportunity for minutes for Guiu this season, and he will be hoping that the Blues enjoy a long run in the competition.
