It was not to be for Exeter City as their FA Cup dreams came to a shuddering end with a 10-1 thrashing away to Manchester City.
The defeat was the first time that the Grecians had ever conceded 10 in a game as Pep Guardiola's side were ruthless and relentless as they kept on going for the whole 90 minutes.
But there was a moment for the 7,800 Exeter City fans to cheer when George Birch scored his first senior goal as he lashed home from 25 yards to send the away fans wild.
