Liverpool are expected to ring the changes when they face Barnsley in the FA Cup on Monday night.
With the game being at home against a struggling third-tier opponent, you have to think that Reds boss Arne Slot will play mostly a second string.
Due to injuries, Slot may have to select more first-team players than he would like. The Dutchman is unlikely to field too many academy players as he can’t risk crashing out to lower league opposition, especially in his situation.
