At the start of the week, Liam Rosenior replaced Enzo Maresca as Chelsea’s permanent manager.
Since taking over, Rosenior has revealed that the Chelsea dressing room was disappointed to see Maresca go.
After winning the Club World Cup and Conference League under him, that is understandable.
With all of that being said, not every Chelsea player would have been left in tears after news of Maresca’s departure.

Filip Jorgensen has shone since Enzo Maresca’s departure
Filip Jorgensen is one member of Chelsea’s dressing room who will not be losing sleep over the club’s managerial change.
After being snubbed by Maresca during his time at Stamford Bridge, Jorgensen even wanted to leave Chelsea.
Since Maresca’s exit, though, Jorgensen has got a couple of opportunities in goal and has not disappointed.
Jorgensen started in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City last weekend because Robert Sanchez was injured, but the 23-year-old performed well at the Etihad and reminded everyone that he is a capable goalkeeper.

On the day, his distribution was excellent. In total, Jorgensen played nine successful long balls, as per Sofascore.
His latest outing came against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup on Saturday, and the Denmark international once again impressed.
Jorgensen made one brilliant save in the second half, though he could not stop Miles Leaburn from scoring the rebound. According to former referee Mark Clattenburg, though, Charlton’s goal should have been disallowed for offside.
There was also one moment during the game when Jorgensen controlled the ball superbly outside of his own box before passing to a teammate. It is early days in this post-Maresca era at Stamford Bridge, but Jorgensen is already starting to resurrect his career.

Why Filip Jorgensen could still leave Chelsea at the end of the season
While Jorgensen is starting to find some form, the likelihood is that the former Villarreal man will still leave Chelsea.
Another goalkeeper is expected to arrive in west London in the summer. That could be Mike Penders, who is currently on loan at Strasbourg, or AC Milan’s Mike Maignan.
After pursuing him in the previous transfer window, Chelsea could still sign Maignan, with it being thought that they still retain some interest in the Frenchman. His arrival or Penders’ return would push Jorgensen out of the club.
