Transfer news LIVE! Arsenal get Barcola boost; Chelsea launch Vinicius bid; Man Utd hijack latest

Transfer targets: Marc Guehi, Bradley Barcola and Vinicius Junior

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all targeting big deals as clubs start to make moves in the January transfer window. In what could be a blockbuster transfer deal, Arsenal are in talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola. The Gunners could also move for Marc Guehi and have been linked with Tino Livramento.

Chelsea are ready to launch a £130million move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid in what would be a major statement following the appointment of Liam Rosenior. Rosenior is said to be seeking a reunion with Strasbourg star Valentin Barco, while the Blues continue to be linked to Fermin Lopez Rafael Leao.

Manchester United are ready to hijack Arsenal’s move for young Championship star Igor Tyjon, as they continue talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about returning to Old Trafford as interim manager and also weigh up a move for Elliot Anderson. Liverpool may go back for Guehi, while Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian left-back Souza from Santos. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Chelsea are ready to smash the British transfer record with a blockbuster move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.

The Blues are said to be preparing a £130million bid for Vinicius in what would be a major statement of intent following the appointment of Liam Rosenior.

Vinicius only has 18 months left on his contract at Real Madrid and his future is uncertain after talks over a new deal stalled.

The Brazilian is set to be in the Real Madrid squad taking on Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup tonight but he has fallen out of favour since the appointment of Xabi Alonso.

According to Fichajes in Spain, Chelsea are ready to make a huge offer to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

It seems unlikely Vinicius will leave Real Madrid in January but Chelsea could get a deal in place for the summer.

Arsenal get Barcola boost

Arsenal have been given a boost in their pursuit of Bradley Barcola, with the Gunners said to be “at the front of the queue” to sign the Paris Saint-Germain star.

It emerged yesterday that Arsenal have opened talks over a deal for Barcola as Mikel Arteta seeks a world-class signing to boost his frontline.

Barcola is attracting interest from top clubs around Europe, including Liverpool as they weigh up long-term options for life after Mohamed Salah.

But Arsenal are said to be leading the race to sign Barcola and there is more good news for the Gunners.

Barcola’s lack of game time at PSG, where Luis Enrique’s prefers a front three of Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, means the 23-year-old could seek a move.

Any move for Barcola could be one of the blockbuster transfer deals in 2026.

Barcelona want to keep Rashford

Barcelona want to keep Marcus Rashford permanently when his loan deal from Manchester United expires at the end of the season.

The England international has a €30million (£26m) buy option that Barca can trigger, according to The Athletic.

The forward has scored seven goals and assisted 11 times in 26 games for the Culers this term.

Rashford was sent out on loan after being frozen out by Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.

However, Amorim’s sacking as United boss could represent a potential way back for Rashford at his boyhood club.

Aston Villa eye ex-Chelsea pair

Aston Villa are considering moves for both Tammy Abraham and Conor Gallagher as they look to maintain their position in the upper echelons of the Premier League table.

Striker Abraham, on loan at Besiktas from Roma, is in fine form in the Turkish Super Lig, with 12 goals in 24 appearances.

According to the Daily Telegraph, would be expected to provide cover and competition for Ollie Watkins.

A deal seems complicated, though, given the conditions of his loan to Besiktas, which could be made permanent if certain unspecified conditions are met.

Emery is also thought to be a long-term admirer of tireless midfielder Gallagher.

Richarlison blasts Spurs exit claims in X-rated post

One player who won’t be leaving Tottenham this month is Richarlison.

The former Everton and Watford forward is Spurs’ top scorer under Thomas Frank despite not always starting, hitting seven goals so far this term.

ESPN Brasil recently claimed that Richarlison wants to leave Tottenham after the World Cup in the summer, with Flamengo a potential option along with clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

However, the 28-year-old has now emphatically dismissed those rumours in X-rated fashion, writing on Instagram: “Who said that? F**k of [sic].”

Spurs defender Dragusin eyeing Roma move

It looks like Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin could be off to Roma this month.

The Romanian centre-back has appeared just once off the bench under Thomas Frank since returning from a long-term knee injury.

A number of clubs appear to be keen on taking the former Juventus and Genoa man back to Serie A, including Fiorentina and AC Milan.

However, Roma looks to be where Dragusin wants to head next.

“I’m waiting for Tottenham to say yes to Roma before we can get to the heart of the matter,” his agent, Florin Manea, told Rai Sport in Italy.

“[On Fiorentina] With all due respect, it wouldn’t be the right path for him.

“Radu has a special bond with Italy. Gladiators are happy in Rome.”

Manchester United could beat Arsenal to the signing of striker Igor Tyjon.

The Gunners have been in pursuit of Blackburn’s highly-rated England Under-18 international, but have so far not closed a deal and apparently seen multiple offers rejected.

Now The Sun claim that Manchester United have joined the race for Tyjon, who has refused a professional contract at Ewood Park and will see his scholarship terms expire in the summer.

Mathys Tel open to Spurs exit this month

Could Mathys Tel leave Tottenham this month?

The 20-year-old forward completed a permanent £30m move to Spurs in the summer after an initial loan spell from Bayern Munich, but has yet to impress under Thomas Frank.

Widespread reports - including from the BBC - now claim that Tel is open to a loan exit from Tottenham this month as he bids to earn a place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the World Cup in North America.

RMC Sport say that Tel is frustrated over his lack of starts, but that Spurs are not keen on letting him leave in this window.

Arsenal make contact over Romeo Ritter

Arsenal have made an initial enquiry over Borussia Dortmund starlet Romeo Ritter, reports claim.

The teenage centre-back appears to have impressed at youth level in Germany and is attracting plenty of interest before even making his senior debut for BVB.

Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Arsenal have called Dortmund about Ritter and are monitoring his situation, along with Serie A giants AC Milan.
