Conor Bradley is facing a lengthy spell on the Liverpool sidelines with the injury he sustained against Arsenal

Conor Bradley will miss the rest of the season after the Liverpool full-back suffered a "significant knee injury" in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal. The Northern Ireland international will now undergo surgery in the coming days after being stretchered off at the Emirates Stadium.

Subsequent scans showed that Bradley had avoided an ACL rupture. However, he suffered damage to both bone and ligaments in his left knee.

While he will begin his rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre after undergoing surgery, the club has not placed a timeframe on his return to action. But it is understood that the defender is set to miss the rest of the Reds’ season as a result of the injury.

A statement from the club reads: " can confirm Conor Bradley has sustained a significant knee injury. The right-back suffered the issue in the latter stages of Thursday night's fixture away at Arsenal.

"Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days and then begin a period of rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre.

"No timeframe is being placed on his return to playing at this stage of the process."
