“I took away every time”- TNT Sports pundit reveals one thing she noticed after hearing…

TNT Sports pundit Karen Carney has revealed the one thing she’s taken away from listening to Liam Rosenior since he took over as Chelsea head coach.

Rosenior was appointed as Enzo Maresca’s successor on Tuesday, and took charge of his first game against Charlton on Saturday evening.

It couldn’t have gone much better as Chelsea ran out 5-1 winners at The Valley, with Jorrel Hato scoring the goal of the game.

Marc Guiu, Tosin Adarabioyo, Enzo Fernandez and Pedro were also on the score sheet, but Rosenior knows he has tougher tasks ahead.

Rosenior has spoken about how important winning is at Chelsea, and the Blues take on Arsenal in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi final on Wednesday evening.

Rosenior faced the media for the first time on Friday afternoon, and left many impressed with how he communicated and what he said.

Obviously you don’t win any trophies for press conferences, but he certainly said the right things, and Carney has revealed one thing she noticed.

“The thing I took away every time I heard him speak is winning,” she told TNT Sports as quoted on X.com.

“We did not hear ‘project’, we heard about winning.”

Chelsea hope Palmer, James and Gusto will be ready for Arsenal

Rosenior made a number of changes to the team for Charlton, and there were three noticeable absentees from the match day squad.

Reece James, Mao Gusto and Cole Palmer were all left out of the squad, and Rosenior revealed after the game it was a precautionary measure.

Arsenal will be Rosenior’s first game in charge at home, and a win would certainly get more fans behind him, and silence some of the critics.
