Despite already having a very small squad, Arsenal have loaned out two of their U21 midfielders in recent weeks.
Firstly, Harrison Dudziak joined Braintree Town in a deal that will initially run until January 21st.
The hard-working youngster has featured prominently for the National League side and it is possible that the deal could be extended.
On Friday Louie Copley, who captained Arsenal U21s in the first half of the season, joined League Two side Crawley Town on loan.
It may seem a little early for the 19-year-old to go on loan but he has physical qualities that could mean he will be well suited to senior football.
Copley is also effective at making dangerous runs into the penalty area.
The temporary departures of Dudziak and Copley are likely to lead to an increase in game time at U21 level for Demiane Agustien.
Agustien, the son of former Swansea player Kemy, has been involved with the U21s since joining last summer.
The 18-year-old has impressive technical ability and has shown glimpses of the quality that he possesses, while he scored a fine goal for the U19s against Club Brugge last month.
A Dutch U19 international, Agustien previously played for Derby County and West Bromwich Albion at youth level.
Agustien is now set to receive an opportunity to show what he is capable of on a regular basis and the attacking midfielder will hope to demonstrate that he can impress consistently.
