FC Barcelona are set to kick off their Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid shortly. Taking place in Saudi Arabia, this game is going to be one that tests both teams to their absolute limit and will require a big performance from them.
Fortunately, Hansi Flick almost has his entire squad fit and ready to play. Still, he made sure to pick his best and most competent players to start this game in order to improve the team’s chances of winning this crucial title.
Here is the official FC Barcelona starting eleven for this game.
In goal, Joan Garcia starts in what will be his first El Clasico since joining the Catalan giants. He was unavailable in the previous encounter between the two sides, but he will want to deliver a strong performance tonight.
As for the centre-back partnership, Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia will be starting this game together. Both players will have a lot of work to do considering Real Madrid’s offensive quality, and they will need to stay on their toes.
Similarly, the full-backs will have a lot of work on their hands as well. Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde, occupying the right and left flanks respectively, will be the players tasked to keep up with Los Blancos defensively and with their own teammates offensively.
Over in the midfield, the ever-impressive Pedri starts with the Frenkie de Jong. Both players have a lot of experience when it comes to playing in this fixture, but they will need to be at their very best to get a good result here.

Ahead of them, the two starting wingers will be Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, two players who have hurt Real Madrid in the past as well. Moreover, in between them, Fermin Lopez starts for Barcelona as the team’s central attacking midfielder.
Lastly, up top, Robert Lewandowski completes the starting eleven as the team’s centre-forward. The Polish ace will need to be both sharp and clinical, and he cannot afford to let his chances slip in this game.
