Arsenal progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 4-1 victory at Fratton Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners fell behind after just a few minutes when Kepa could only parry a shot from range to the Portsmouth captain.
But they were soon ahead through a couple of corners, an own goal was followed by Gabriel Martinelli’s first of the afternoon. Arsenal had a clear chance to make it three from the spot but Noni Madueke missed the target.
In the second half, Gabriel Jesus crossed nicely for Martinelli to tap in and the Brazilian completed his hat-trick with another header from a corner with 20 minutes to go.

Man of the match: Gabriel Martinelli has to take the award with three goals, including two from corners! Opponents are in trouble if even Martinelli is becoming a threat from corners. It’s natural, I suppose, as people take more attention on players like Gabriel, for others to get more space and opportunity – great to see Arsenal continue to innovate in this area.
