Hachimura has been sidelined with a left calf strain and was previously listed as questionable for the game against the Milwaukee Bucks, but he was ultimately ruled out in the Lakers’ narrow 105-101 loss.
Hachimura isn’t the only Lakers player dealing with a calf problem, as Austin Reaves is also currently recovering.
This season, Hachimura has started all 27 games he’s played, averaging 32 minutes per contest. He’s putting up 12.7 points per game, slightly down from 13.1 last season.
Despite the modest drop in counting stats, Hachimura has been highly efficient offensively, shooting 52% from the field and 44% from three, giving him a career-best 61% effective field goal percentage.
