Raphinha went on to score the winner and Lewandowski was thrilled to win more silverware with the Catalan giants.
“We’re very happy, another title. Whenever we play against Real Madrid it’s a big game. We played well in the first half, and in the second too. We looked for more goals, but we won and that’s the most important thing,” he told Movistar.
“Madrid played a very low block and we’re trying to find the goal area. Sometimes we need more patience, but against Madrid you have to be at 100%. We won as a team. The most important thing is that we’ve won and have another title.”
Barcelona will now celebrate another title with Hansi Flick and will then head back to Catalunya to start thinking about a Copa del Rey tie against Racing.
