In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Liverpool are among the clubs hoping to land Paris Saint-Germain ace Bradley Barcola. It has been mentioned that the Reds are facing competition from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in the race to land the French wide player.
Barcola’s Impressive Form In French Football
Barcola has enjoyed a good run of form at the French club as he has put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 23-year-old has registered five goals and grabbed one assist in 14 matches in the league this season.
The French talent has proven his worth in the final third by averaging 3.80 shots per 90 minutes in Ligue 1. He has kept 50% of his attempts on target. Bradley has even been accurate when distributing possession in the opponent’s half based on his pass success rate of 83.9% in the French first division (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at PSG will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Reds to sign him on the cheap this year.

Liverpool Are Among The Clubs Hoping To Sign Barcola: Is He Worth The Fight?
Barcola is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out on the flanks. He has got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates in the final third and can strike the ball with venom from long range.
The French sensation can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. Barcola is primarily a left-winger but can also function as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if required. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Reds manage to snap him up this year.
Barcola would bring more pace and goals to Liverpool boss Arne Slot’s frontline. He is more than capable of securing a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming years.
At 23, Barcola has got a bright future ahead of him. He would be well worth the fight, so the Reds would do well to bring him on board this month or next summer.
