With the New York Knicks in town on Friday, voice of the NBA Finals and Knicks Broadcaster Mike Breen got his first chance to call a Phoenix Suns game this season and made sure to give Suns shooting guard Devin Booker some strong praise.
Breen, who’s been calling NBA games for decades, has called some of Booker’s best games of his career, including both of his 40-point performances in the 2021 NBA Finals and his 40-point triple-double in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. It’s fair to say Breen’s very experienced with his game and has been in the building for a lot of his accomplishments.
Breen’s praise is not the first time this season that people from other organizations or companies have had nice things to say about the team this year. Warriors, Thunder, and Lakers head coaches Steve Kerr, Mark Daigneault, and JJ Redick all have had nice things to say about the team so far, complimenting the squad’s toughness and game plans.
The team is amid a surprising season right now, winners of eight of their last 10 and 23-15 on the season. Phoenix looks to win its third-straight tonight when they face the Washington Wizards, [who they beat at the start of last week, 115-101.](/suns-scores-results/95515/game-recap-balanced-effort-propels-suns-to-115-101-victory-over-the-wizards)
