Fans lined up around Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix on Sunday to buy Devin Booker’s new Book 2s.
The shoes were being sold at Booker’s pop-up store in conjunction with Foot Locker prior to the Suns’ game against the Washington Wizards. Foot Locker promoted nine locations as part of Book 2′s target list, including four in the Valley and others in Flagstaff, Tucson and Yuma.
Fans had access to an entirely orange “Phoenix” colorway at the pop-up shop. A black and orange combo, known as “Rising,” was released on Jan. 2 online.

The pop-up event also featured a basketball court where fans played pickup basketball games.
Nike has promoted Booker as “The Professional” for much of the Book 2 rollout, including after his recent game-winning shot to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the final seconds.
Fans can find the Phoenix colorway in person at Foot Locker (on the SNKRS app on Friday at 8 a.m.) or the Rising version online for $145.
