With 7:24 left in regulation, Gobert took a questionable closeout as he contested Victor Wembanyama's three-point attempt. Officials deemed it illegal, slapping the Wolves' big man a Flagrant 1 foul.
Gobert tallied five points from previous Flagrant incidents this season, and the recent Flagrant 1 against Wembanyama added another point, totaling six.
Per league rules, this triggers an automatic one-game suspension. After serving the suspension, his point total will not reset.
If he collects more points, he'll face a two-game suspension for any subsequent flagrant foul until the end of the season.
Gobert concluded the matchup with two points and 14 boards in 29 minutes, as Minnesota prevailed from being down 19 against the Spurs. Unfortunately, he'll be automatically unavailable in the Wolves' next game on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
