Redick didn't address the league suspension against Schroder for the alleged attempt to hit Luka Doncic
The NBA announced recently that Dennis Schroder will be suspended for three games for confronting and attempting to strike an unnamed player after the Sacramento Kings' 125-101 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
This sparked uproar among the Los Angeles Lakers fanbase, as it appeared Schroder may have attempted to hit Luka Doncic.
While he is completely aware of the league punishment, head coach JJ Redick declined to give comments about what happened.
"I mean, look, it's a league matter. So I don't really have a comment on it, to be honest with you," he said after the Lakers' Sunday practice. "They made their decision, it's up to them. There's very few things I'm not aware of."
And in another separate event, Doncic was seen mocking Schroder for failing to sign a four-year, $84-million extension that the Lakers offered to him in 2021.
As the Lakers will face the Kings again on Monday, Doncic won't be seeing Schroder out of the league suspension. They might meet again on both teams' regular season finale on March 1.
