Speaking to the club’s media after the final, goalkeeper Joan Garcia could barely hide his delight.
The shot-stopper described the night as unforgettable and admitted that winning a first trophy with Barcelona carries extra meaning.
“It was a spectacular night. The game was intense and we got the win. It’s my first title and I’m super happy,” Garcia said.
Reflecting on the tension of El Clasico, he said that “from the inside you don’t suffer as much” despite the tight scoreline and late pressure from Real Madrid.
Garcia then took a moment to assess his personal adaptation to life at Barcelona, making it clear that confidence has been key to his early performances.
“From the beginning, I’ve felt very comfortable and confident. I think I’m performing at a good level. I’m trying to keep it up.
“I’m very happy and comfortable. You can see that on the pitch,” said the goalkeeper.

Rashford, another major summer arrival, shared that sense of satisfaction after collecting his first trophy as a Barcelona player.
For the England international, the Super Cup win is not an endpoint, but a starting signal for bigger ambitions this season.
“Winning the first one is always a great feeling. I hope we can win more for the rest of the season. It was a great performance.
“This is what we are capable of doing. There are still things to improve, as always, but today we enjoyed ourselves.”
The forward also addressed the late chance he missed in the final, offering an honest and simple explanation of the moment, he noted, “I had no strength in my legs.”
Beyond the result itself, Rashford emphasised how comfortable he feels in the dressing room and how strong the collective spirit has been since his arrival.
Rounding off his thoughts, he said he is feeling “very good” at Barcelona and stressed that “we have been together as a team, for me it’s perfect and I’m enjoying it.”
