Holders Crystal Palace suffered a major shock on Saturday as they were beaten by non-League Macclesfield in what was statistically the biggest upset in the competition’s long illustrious history, with 117 places separating the teams in the English pyramid.

Championship side Wrexham knocked out Nottingham Forest on penalties in another giant-killing on Friday night.

Manchester City thrashed third-tier Exeter 10-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, while Aston Villa saw off Tottenham and Newcastle edged Bournemouth on penalties.

Arsenal joined them in the fourth round thanks to Gabriel Martinelli’s hat-trick against Portsmouth, before Manchester United were beaten 2-1 by Brighton.

When is the FA Cup fourth round draw?

The draw will be held ahead of the third-round meeting between Liverpool and Barnsley at Anfield.

TNT Sports coverage of the game gets underway at 6.30pm GMT, ahead of a 7.45pm kick-off, with the draw scheduled to begin around 6.35pm.

Darren Fletcher and Ally McCoist will host the draw, with Steven Gerrard and Joe Cole in charge of picking the balls.
