Moises Caicedo And Jorrel Hato Both Say The Same Thing About Rosenior As They Issue Verdict On New Chelsea Boss

**Chelsea pair Moises Caicedo and Jorrel Hato have given positive verdicts on the first few days of life under new head coach Liam Rosenior.**

The Blues boss got off to a winning start with a [**5-1 victory over Charlton Athletic**](https://chelseanews.com/blog/chelsea-player-ratings-charlton/) at the weekend, and asked about what Rosenior has asked from the players, Caicedo replied:

“I think he just wants discipline and effort from us, in training, in games. We have started really well with him and for sure we are going to do a lot of good things with him.”

Hato, meanwhile, says he is “enjoying” working with Rosenior, and he is expecting to be deployed in a similar fashion as he was under predecessor Enzo Maresca:

“I enjoy being able to help offensively as well as defensively. It’s a new role for me because during my time at Ajax, I only ever played as a defender.”

“Maresca wanted me to invert and join in attacks previously and now the new manager has asked the same of me. It’s a new role but one I’m happy to d,o and I’m really enjoying the first few days under the gaffer.”

There are bigger tests to come for Rosenior

-------------------------------------------

The club were probably wise to ensure that the 41-year-old’s first game in charge was not the clash against Fulham. Facing a struggling Championship side in Charlton meant that the new man in the dugout was almost guaranteed to start on a positive note.

Next up for Rosenior and his team is the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final versus Arsenal on Wednesday evening. Like the Blues, the Gunners secured their passage through to the fourth round of the FA Cup by beating Championship opponents at the weekend.

We should see Rosenior’s preferred Chelsea XI

---------------------------------------------

Plenty of changes were made for the FA Cup, but the Arsenal clash will give us the first insight into what the manager sees as his best eleven.

Will Robert Sanchez start in goal? Who will he pick on the flanks? Will Liam Delap or Joao Pedro be selected to play up top? We won’t have to wait long to find out.
