Arsenal risk losing one of their defenders in the January transfer window, as Everton are eyeing a move for him.
The Gunners managed to secure their spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday, as they beat Portsmouth 4-1 at Fratton Park, thanks to a hat-trick from Gabriel Martinelli.

They now turn their attention to the Carabao Cup, as they will face off against rivals Chelsea in the semi-final, looking to get their hands on a trophy for the first time since 2021 in Mikel Arteta’s first season.
Arsenal will be keen to keep their best players this month, as they are competing in all four competitions at the moment, and fixture congestion could become a real issue. However, they could lose one of their star defenders.
Everton eye move for Arsenal star Ben White
Ben White has struggled a lot with injuries during his time at Arsenal, but most would agree that White impresses whenever he plays for the Gunners, whether that be as a centre-back or a right-back.
However, the Gunners could be at risk of losing White, as Football Insider report that Everton are keen on White, and would like to sign him to solve their lack of depth issue at right-back. The report claims that they had been targeting Leeds’ Jayden Bogle, but have now set their sights on White.
Arsenal signed White for £50m in 2021, but his market value has dwindled because of his recent injury history, and he’s expected to cost just £26m. He’s made 173 appearances for Arsenal, scoring six goals, and providing 13 assists.
It is unclear whether the Gunners would be willing to sell White, but if the player decides he wants to leave in search of more game time, then Arsenal may have no choice.
