A day after the victory, Laporta spoke to RAC1 and Catalunya Ràdio (as reported by [SPORT](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/laporta-ter-stegen-quiere-estara-125590427)), reviewing key aspects of the club, including the future of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, sports planning, the transfer market, Raphinha’s performance, the upcoming elections, and the situation with the Camp Nou stands.
On Ter Stegen and the goalkeeping department, Laporta was clear about the German international’s future:
**“Ter Stegen has a contract, and if he is happy and wants to, he will be with us. With the three goalkeepers we have, the squad is covered, and it has to be like this in such a demanding season.”**
Regarding the transfer market, Laporta addressed the signing of Joao Cancelo, partly deferring responsibility to the sporting management:
**“If Cancelo has been the only signing, you have to ask Deco. Our goal was to strengthen the defense. He is a player who can play in many positions—a signing that is worth three.”**
Raphinha, who scored a brace in the final and was named MVP, also earned praise from Laporta:

Laporta also talked about how having Barcelona presidential election in March could be beneficial for sporting planning:
**“Thinking about sports planning, yes, they should be held earlier. Elections create tension and cause distortions in the club.”**
He mentioned March as a potential timeframe:
**“From March 15 onwards could be an option. Once it’s over (current season), there are about 15 days in June that could be good. We want to announce the date in January or, at the latest, in early February.”**
Talking about the Spotify Camp Nou, Laporta commented:
**“We hope the Gol Nord opens. We thought it would be on the 7th of January. I don’t understand the reasons for not having it. There has been understanding, and I hope it is unlocked as soon as possible.”**
