Steven Gerrard will feature on TV screens tonight as Liverpool face off against Barnsley. The Reds are set to play the League One side in the FA Cup on Monday night, with the game kicking off at 7.45pm GMT.
As TNT Sports begins its build-up to the cup tie, Liverpool legend Gerrard will be joined by Joe Cole to carry out the fourth round draw. The remaining 32 teams, which could include Arne Slot's squad, will discover their opponents for the weekend starting Saturday, February 14.
FA Cup icon Gerrard will be hoping that Liverpool can steer clear of a shock defeat, following Crystal Palace's eye-catching loss to Macclesfield at the weekend. The Reds have started the New Year with three consecutive draws.
Now, ECHO Sport takes a closer look at the iconic captain, including his net worth, recent remarks about a potential return to Liverpool and future managerial plans.
Net worth
According to 888Sports, Gerrard is estimated to be worth around £75 million. He is said to have amassed approximately £22.5 million during his illustrious playing career with Liverpool and MLS team LA Galaxy.
The 45-year-old has since built up a considerable fortune from his managerial career, reportedly earning a hefty £15.2 million per year while managing Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League. At the time, Gerrard was the fourth-highest-paid manager in the world, trailing only Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola, and Diego Simeone.

It is claimed that he forfeited an additional £10m from the latter half of his contract by mutually agreeing to leave the club last January. His net worth was also boosted by various sponsorship deals throughout his career, including endorsements from Adidas, Jaguar and Lucozade.
Liverpool offer
Since leaving Saudi Arabia, Gerrard has been a pundit for TNT Sports in recent months. However, he recently admitted he would be open to a return to Liverpool in any role.
His comments indicated he would be content to work under or alongside Arne Slot and perhaps even succeed him one day. Speaking on TNT Sports' Ally's Social Club last month, Gerrard said: "I'll be brutally, brutally honest with you. I'd help Liverpool in any department at any minute of every day.

"I'd help them with anything. I don't want the Liverpool manager to lose his job, I want Arne Slot to fix this and turn it around and make Liverpool great.
"I was bouncing all over the city four, five months ago when Liverpool won the league. I'm a Liverpool fan, I want the best for Liverpool. But if Liverpool need me, in any department at any time, I'll be there for them."
Gerrard last worked for Liverpool as Under-18s coach from January 2017 until the summer of 2018. Since then, he has appeared for the club in Legends charity fixtures while also representing the Reds in a commercial capacity.

Next job plans
Gerrard has acknowledged that he's in no rush to get back into management, only considering it if the "right project comes up". The former Reds captain immersed himself in coaching at Liverpool immediately after hanging up his boots in November 2016.
Managerial roles at Rangers, Aston Villa and Al-Ettifaq subsequently followed. However, Gerrard seems content to keep his options open until the next suitable job presents itself.
He said: "If that right opportunity, or that feeling that I got when I first bounced into Rangers, doesn't come then I'm fine. I'm not searching for a job, I'm not down the Job Centre for what's available. I'm not hoping 'that one might come available'.
"My life's great, my family life's great, I'm enjoying doing [media work], I've got a lot going on. My life's good, I'm fine. If the right football project comes up, the hunger's back, it's there."
