Chelsea have now entered the picture to sign a "magic" attacker, who plays for a rival Premier League club, but they may have to move swiftly...
Blues join race for new attacker
The Blues were expected to breeze past Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup, but they did so in emphatic fashion, and new manager Liam Rosenior was left very impressed with his side's performance.
Rosenior said: "Some of our passages of play were beautiful to watch. We've got magnificent players. My idea of football is not important. It's about winning games of football consistently.
"It's a good start. It's just the start and we have to stay consistent now in a very, very hectic schedule."

The new boss is off to a solid start, but there are far tougher tests to come before the end of January, with the west Londoners hosting Arsenal in the EFL Cup semi-final next time out, while they are also set to travel to Italy to take on Napoli at the end of the month.
Chelsea end January against West Ham United at home, and it has now been revealed they have entered the picture to sign one of their rivals' key players.
Taking to X, journalist Renan Moura revealed the Blues could hijack Flamengo's move for Lucas Paqueta before the end of the month, with the Brazilian club recently making a bid for the attacking midfielder, which was knocked back.

However, Flamengo are prepared to spend up to €40m (£35m) to get a deal over the line, meaning the Premier League side may need to move quickly, and there are some indications it could be tough to lure the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge.
Paqueta is "truly willing" to leave England, with Fabrizio Romano revealing he is eager to return to his home country of Brazil.
"Magic" Paqueta may need to leave West Ham
It has been a torrid season for West Ham, with Nuno's side sitting seven points from safety, but the 61-time Brazil international has been one of their stand-out players, chipping in with four goals and one assist in the Premier League.

Chelsea preparing club record bid to sign their new Eden Hazard
The world-class international could be Chelsea and Liam Rosenior's new Eden Hazard.
Scout Antonio Mango has also singled the playmaker out for high praise in the past, noting that he is impressive from a defensive point of view too.
That said, Chelsea already have a number of attacking midfielders on the books, with the likes of Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer to choose from, so it would not be a major blow if they missed out on Paqueta.
